Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Accommodation for Long-Term Lease (Residence) The Delegation of the European Union to Lebanon is searching for a property to be leased, to be used for the Residence of the European Union Ambassador. This property should meet the European Union's requirements, concerning quality of construction, space, security and location. We are looking for a self-standing house surrounded by a boundary wall (min 2.5 M). Preferably, the house and compound should already be equipped with security installations such as CCTV system, fire alarm/smoke detectors, fire equipment, anti-intrusion alarm system. The house need also to offer a safe-haven place fully equipped with toilettes, strong door and extract door in case of fire emergency. The building's useful surface area should preferably be of maximum 600 m². The property must be equipped with sufficient and efficient air-conditioning and heating systems. Secure parking for at least two cars should be available. This self-standing house will also dispose of a secure standoff distance from the main street or any other surrounding buildings or houses. If not yet available, a guard shelter will be positioned at the main entrance of the Residence. The property should be situated in one of the following areas of Beirut: Gemmayze, Ashrafieh, Sursock, Rabieh, Yarze or Baabda or immediate surroundings.
