• Tenders are invited for Consultancies: Calling for Needs Assessment Consultants to Conduct 3 Focus Group Discussion with Entrepreneurs in 3 Different Areas in Lebanon Specific tasks include: The recruited expert will conduct three focus group discussions with 10 women-led businesses in different regions of Lebanon to gather qualitative data The assessment, it will include the general desk review and the quantitative data collection on the challenges and needs for these businesses to be sustainable and grow. Timeline:  The assignment is expected to take place during the month of September 2024 (in person meetings).  Qualifications:  The ideal candidate should possess:  Proven experience in needs assessment.  Strong background business development practices Proven experience in collaborative work Excellent public speaking, communication, diplomatic abilities.  Deliverables:  The expert will conduct a needs assessment, focusing analyzing the challenges faced by the selected women led MSMEs, and identifying their gaps, needs, challenges, and opportunities, and setting capacity development plan supporting resilience and growth. This assessment will include a general desk review, data collection, and a tailored assessment. Including: Conduct 3 focus group with the selected candidates in 3 different areas Prepare a survey (using one common questionnaire). Develop a link for the needs assessment based on a predefined matrix so that the results can be categorized by the scope of needed training. Data and Documentation analysis, identification of common challenges and needs on the personal and organizational level including required personnel training, including: Desk Review: The desk review will be conducted to collect and synthesize the most up‐to‐date data available. This will include identifying any existing assessments with similar objectives in the project areas. Based on the desk review, and the objectives of the assessment, a questionnaire for the target group will be developed to serve the objective of the assessment. The questionnaire will be structured with an open‐ended and closed‐ended list of questions and tailored as per the type of needed information requested in the scope of work.   Analysis of the data and results: The questionnaires will be linked to an automated system based on a predefined matrix so that the results can be categorized by the scope of needed training based on the content available at LLWB. Prepare analysis report related to each MSME: Submit final report highlighting, the results of the desk review, analysis of the findings, and a clear action plan. The identification of the training topics needed and levels, for each MSMEs to develop his business. Presentation, facilitation, with clear sets of agenda items to discuss. Submit an article of one page in English and one article in Arabic on the activity with quotes and recommendations.
