• Tenders are invited for Basic Entrepreneurship Training for Youth. Closing Date: Tuesday, 07. May 2024 Intervention Sector(s): Children & Youth, Training & Capacity Building Remuneration range: 6000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 9 Months Backgroud: FSF is seeking an experienced facilitator to conduct a Basic Entrepreneurship Training program for youth aged between 15 and 24 years old. The training aims to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge in social entrepreneurship, focusing on topics such as Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition, and Pitching their Ideas. The training will consist of 12 sessions, each lasting for 4 hours. Objectives: To provide youth with a foundational understanding of entrepreneurship concepts. To empower participants to develop innovative business ideas with social impact. To equip participants with the skills necessary to articulate and pitch their business ideas effectively. Scope of Work: The expert facilitator will be responsible for: Designing the curriculum and session plans for the 12-session training program. Delivering interactive and engaging training sessions in Arabic language. Covering key topics including Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition, and Pitching. Incorporating practical exercises, case studies, and group discussions to enhance learning. Providing guidance and support to participants in developing their business ideas. Conducting pre and posttest to assess participants' improvement. Submitting a final report summarizing the training outcomes and participant feedback. Follow up with the winners of the seed fund to ensure proper usage of the seed fund. Deliverables: Curriculum and session plans for the 12-session training program. Training materials, including presentations, handouts, and supplementary resources. Deliver training for 3 groups (12 sessions per group). Pre and Post Test and analysis per group. Final report summarizing training outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for future training initiatives per group (3 reports). Final report per seed fund winners (12 winners). Duration: The training program will be conducted over a period of 6 months, consisting of 12 sessions and mentoring over 3 months after the completion of the training program. Qualifications and Expertise: Demonstrated experience in facilitating entrepreneurship training programs, particularly for youth. Proficiency in Arabic language, with strong communication and presentation skills. In-depth knowledge of social entrepreneurship concepts and methodologies. Experience in designing interactive and participatory training sessions. Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of youth participants. Strong organizational and time management skills. Previous experience working with NGOs or youth development organizations is a plus. Logistics: The training sessions will be conducted at Nafas Community Center - Karantina, with access to necessary facilities and equipment. FSF will provide support in coordinating logistics. Fees: The expert facilitator will be compensated based on an agreed-upon fee structure, inclusive of all expenses related to training delivery.
