Quotation are invited for Build a Network Solution for Aub Mediterraneo including the Network Hardware as Well as the Related Implementation and Training Services. Milestone Dale/Time RfP Issuing date 13/02/2023 Deadline (or receiving Inquiries 24/02/2023 Deadline for responses to proposal inquiries 02/03/2023 Deadline for proposal submission 20/03/2023 Technical Scope and Design The network solution shall cater for 2 plots for AUB Mediterraneo in Pafos, Cyprus III. Main Plot: a. Having a bigger scope for setting up the network solution in a new facility as described the Main Plot - Technical Scope and Design section. b. Tied to a fast track timeline whe'eby the deadline to deliver, install and commission the solution is by August 2023 (dependent on new facility readiness which is expected by July 2023J IV. Secondary Plot: a. Having a smaller scope tor enhancing the network solution in an existing facility as described in the Secondary Plot - Technical Scope and Design section. b. Tied to a critically faster track timeline whereby the deadline to deliver, install and commission the solution is by June 2023 or early July 2023. Main Plot - Technical Scope and Design The main purpose of this project is to build an enterprise level datacenter and Internet Edge, In addition to secure wireless network for the new AUB Mediterraneo campus and to build a secure wired network only for the classroom building. This project will be divided into 2 phases: Phase 1: • Building a Core network that provides high throughput and secured connectivity between end users and the Internet as well as the servers in the Datacenter. • Building a robust and resilient scalable datacenter network infrastructure. • Building a Local area Network and a wireless network for 2 floors in the classroom building and a wireless for 2 floors in the admin building, the cafeteria, the auditorium and a part of the outdoor area: Phases This project will be divided into 2 phases: Phase 1: • Building a Core network that provides high throughput and secured connectivity between end users and the Internet as well as the servers in the Datacenter. • Building a robust and resilient scalable datacenter network infrastructure. • Building a Local area Network and a wireless network for 2 floors in the classroom building and a wireless for 2 floors in the admin building, the cafeteria, the auditorium and a part of the outdoor area: Admin Building: 4 x 48 ports access switches for the 1st and 2nd floors + 1 spare Full wireless coverage for the 2 floors 4 x 24 ports wireless access switches for the 1st and 2nd floors. Classrooms Building 2 distribution switches 15 x 48 ports access switches for the 1st and 2nd floors. Full wireless coverage for the 2 floors . 2 x 24 ports wireless access switches for the 1st and 2nd floors. Auditorium 1 x 48 ports access switches Full wireless coverage for 1st floor 1 x 24 ports wireless access switches Scope of Work 2. Statement of Purpose AUB is requesting proposals from qualified suppliers lo build a Network Solution for AUB Medlterraneo including the network hardware as well as the related implementation and training services. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to select a preferred partner to supply the requested equipment and services. The proposals will be evaluated by the RFP committee given that the project will be under the direction of AU8 - IT Department. In turn, the qualified vendor/partner is expected to meet the requirements as defined in this RFP (refer to Technical Scope and Design section and to the Deliverables section for details], commit to deadlines, clearly state any concern, challenge, or risk that may hinder or delay the work all the way from the beginning (refer to insufficient Data and Elimination Criteria section for details). Note: Suppliers may partner or form a consortium to jointly bid on this project if one single vendor acts as the prime contractor. This project will be under the direction of AUB - IT Department.
