Quotation are invited for Chemical Management Software. RFP issuing date 22/8/2022 Questions of the bidders 29/8/2022 Answers from AUB 1/9/2022 Deadline for receiving offers 15/9/2022 1-Allows for development of custom features and interfaces and configured to fit AUB's operations and technology requirements 2-Provides an inventory of chemicals at the different departments/labs/locations. The inventory should be periodically updated and available quantities indicated. 3-Oversees key aspects of inventory management including ordering, chemical approval, receiving, distribution, use, and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials. 4-Supports smartphones and tablets with apps to simplify record tracking. 5-Provides a database of safety datasheets of chemicals. 6-Provides an NFPA rating of chemicals with a potential to derive an NFPA rating for rooms/labs based on their chemical content. 7-Provides a way to classify chemicals according to their hazard class (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic, etc…). 8-Includes chemical storage compatibility monitoring. 9-Includes alerts on chemical expiration dates. 10-Includes alerts on low stock. 11-Includes waste inventory and management marking waste from the point of generation, allowing for waste profiling and quantity tracking, safe storage, and treatment and disposal services. 12-Provides chemical container labeling and generation of door labels. 13-Includes features of barcode reading. 14-Includes features that allow putting restrictions on quantities of certain chemicals of concern (e.g. flammables, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, etc…) 15-Includes a surplus chemical management system (Share surplus chemicals between departments/labs/locations across AUB). 16. Includes chemical risk assessment. 17-Allows for report generation and data analysis including reports on activity performed in the software by date/user
