  • Tenders are invited for Civil Society Organizations Operating in Egypt, Jordan or Tunisia. Closing Date: Sunday, 20. Nov 2022 Intervention Sector(s): Coordination & Information management, Development, Training & Capacity Building The Arab Alliance Program for the Development of Civil Society Organizations (AACSOD - I mean) launches its first cycle of strengthening, institutional development and capacity building, through which 15 civil society organizations will be selected to benefit from the program's services over a period of 12-18 months. In this course, small and medium-sized civil society organizations based in Egypt, Jordan or Tunisia and operating in one of these countries are encouraged to apply for registration in the AACSOD Program. An expert will be assigned to each of the selected CSOs to support them throughout their development journey. It is worth noting that the program services will be provided to the selected organizations without any charge or fees. The selected CSOs will benefit from a range of services, including: Institutional Strengthening and Development: A standardized performance improvement planning process based on a self-assessment conducted by CSOs and validated by an expert, along with mentoring, training, and regular monitoring and evaluation of progress. Training and Capacity Building: A set of contextual courses on the operational and strategic management of NGOs, which will be available in both English and Arabic. Organizational Certification: A voluntary, non-governmental review process to assess the management structures as well as the operating principles of NGOs using evidence-based criteria. Eligibility criteria to apply To apply for admission to the AACSOD Program - I mean, you must be: A charitable, non-profit, non-governmental, or civil society organization An organization legally registered and operating in Egypt, Jordan or Tunisia An organization serving communities residing in Egypt, Jordan or Tunisia An organization that has completed at least one project in Egypt, Jordan or Tunisia An organization that is able to invest time and devote team efforts to implementing organizational performance improvement steps An organization with principles and values ​​that support diversity, equity, inclusion, respect for human rights and responsibility to society.
