Tenders are invited for Consultancy for the Design and Supervision of the Construction of a Solar Water Pumping System in Bakhoun, North Lebanon 1 Haqlit Haqlit (North Lebanon) 34°24'29.9"N 36°01'30.3"E Closing Date: Monday, 14. Nov 2022 Intervention Sector(s): Water sanitation and hygiene Remuneration range: 6000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 5 months The consultant is to conduct discussions and consultations with the Water Establishment, municipalities, and other relevant stakeholders in full coordination with Oxfam. Review all existing documents, data, and information relevant to the Project. Prepare tender documents for the construction of the solar water pumping system, including all necessary designs, technical specifications, Bill of Quantities, and scope of work. Provide regular progress work, monthly as deemed necessary by the project manager. With the Oxfam Engineer, review the survey of the lands selected and verify that the position of the station and the area of the land is suitable for the implementation of the solar pumping systems. Supervision of construction works for the solar water pumping and chlorination systems including the provision of monthly progress report and final report with visual documentation. Supervise the commissioning of the solar water pumping system and handover to the Water Establishment. Review and approval of the material submittals and shop drawings submitted by the contractor. Ensure and supervise the compilation of the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manual and training of the WE technical personnel by the Contractor, as part of the handover process. Conduct a risk analysis and recommend mitigation measures for consideration during the construction phase. Ensure the completion of the construction of the solar water pumping and chlorination systems within the timeframe of the project.
