Dec 2023 Intervention Sector(s): Training & Capacity Building Remuneration range: 2000 to 3000 (USD) Duration of Contract: N/A Context & Background Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. About ARYAF PROJECT ARYAF serves Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises operating in food processing, local hospitality, tourism, the restaurant industry, eco-tourism, and Agri-tourism within west Bekaa, Zahle, and South Mount Lebanon. The program aims to empower sixty MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) to increase their sales volume, implement a business continuity plan, and provide training to their staff, including youth, women, and disabled individuals. The program is funded by The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft fΓΌr International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), in partnership with Berytech, within the framework of Strengthening Agriculture, Local Communities and Small and Medium Enterprises project (ACE). Background Al-Marj Dairy is a small dairy plant known for its traditional fermented dairy products. The company is now looking to develop new products such as Mozzarella, Kashkaval, and Cheddar Cheese and aims to increase market share. The objective of this project is to create and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aimed at increasing market demand and awareness for Al-Marj Dairy. The Expected Outcomes of this project are: Increased brand awareness among the target audience. Increased online visibility. Enhanced customer engagement. Expand marketing reach. Scope of Work Assessment: The consultant will conduct a comprehensive assessment of Al-Marj Dairy-s current marketing efforts and market position. This will include an analysis of the company-s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT), as well as an evaluation of its product range, target audience, and competition. Based on this assessment, the consultant will provide recommendations for improving Al-Marj Dairy-s digital marketing strategy and increasing its market share. These recommendations will be incorporated into the digital marketing campaign. Market Research: Conduct an in-depth analysis of the local market to identify target demographics, consumer behaviors, and preferences related to dairy products. Analyze competitor strategies and market positioning to identify gaps and opportunities for Al-Marj Dairy. Digital Marketing Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy tailored to Al-Marj Dairy-s needs. This will include a selection of suitable digital platforms, the creation of a 12-month content calendar, tone of voice, and the setting up of performance metrics (KPIs). Implementation Plan Create engaging and informative content showcasing the uniqueness and quality of Al-Marj Dairy's new cheese products. Design and execute targeted advertising campaigns across various digital channels to reach the identified target audience. Implement SEO strategies to optimize online visibility and search rankings for the new cheese products. Throughout this phase, the consultant will entirely manage all the above activities for 1 full month to engage with the audience and build brand awareness. This will include regular posting of content, responding to comments, and handling any customer queries or complaints to set the tone of voice. Performance Tracking: Monitor the effectiveness of the digital marketing campaign using analytics tools. This will include tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and making necessary adjustments to the strategy. Deliverables The deliverables for this project are as follows: Assessment Report: A detailed report outlining the findings of the consultant-s assessment and the recommended marketing strategies. This report will be provided to Al-Marj Dairy before the commencement of the digital marketing campaign. The Assessment Report will be evaluated based on its comprehensiveness, accuracy, and the relevance and feasibility of its recommendations. Market Research Report: This report will provide a detailed analysis of the target market. It will include information about the demographics, behaviors, and preferences of the target audience. The report will also include a competitive analysis, identifying key competitors and their strategies. The goal of this report is to provide a clear understanding of the market landscape and to identify opportunities for Al-Marj Dairy. Digital Marketing Strategy: This document will outline the overall approach and specific tactics to be used in the digital marketing campaign. It will detail the selected digital platforms, the type of content to be created for each platform, the posting schedule (12-month content calendar), and the key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be used to measure the success of the campaign. Digital Marketing Strategy Implementation Report This report will provide a summary of all the activities on Al-Marj Dairy-s online profiles. It will include details such as the number of posts, engagement rates (likes, shares, comments), follower growth, and any notable interactions. The report will also include an analysis of the performance and recommendations for improvement. Final Report: The final report for a digital marketing campaign provides a comprehensive overview of the campaign, its performance, and its impact on the business. It includes an executive summary, a detailed analysis of the campaign-s performance, channel-specific reports, an SEO report, a social media report, a content analysis, market research findings, lessons learned and recommendations, and a conclusion. The goal of the report is to provide valuable insights that can guide future marketing efforts. Qualifications A degree or diploma in branding marketing, graphic design, web design, or related field. Proven track record of working with similar businesses in the Agri-food industry. Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns for similar projects Proficiency in various relevant digital marketing channels, including SEO, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and online advertising. Proficiency in Managing and growing social media accounts with a focus on platforms relevant to the industry such as Instagram Facebook TikTok, and LinkedIn. Strong project management capabilities including the ability to set and meet deadlines manage resources and adapt to changing circumstances Awareness of legal and regulatory considerations specific to the hospitality and tourism industry such as data privacy and advertising standards Ability and willingness to collaborate and communicate with management and staff and to incorporate their feedback and approval A portfolio of previous work and projects that demonstrate their creativity quality and professionalism How to apply Timeline and Application The selected consultant is expected to start as soon as possible after selection. The contract duration is 12 weeks. Candidates should submit the following documents: Technical (maximum two pages) describing the methodology to conduct the work based on the content suggested in the section: β€œScope of Work, and Deliverables” elaborating it further. Profile and project references (maximum two pages): A brief explanation of the consultant(s) background should be submitted (CVs shall be included as an annex) along with project references on the topic. Financial Proposal describing the expected remuneration and the proposed period of the intervention divided per deliverable as listed above.
