Dec 2023 Intervention Sector(s): Refugees Remuneration range: 6000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 1 month SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in partnership with the European Union EU are committed to provide Access to Basic Services for the Vulnerable Population in Lebanon - Economic Recovery and Basic Infrastructure. Established in France in 1980, SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL is an International non-governmental, non-political, non-religious, non-profit organization, working with vulnerable populations, mainly victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters. Specialized for nearly 40 years in the coverage of vital needs, SI takes charge of emergency and reconstruction programs. Solidarités International's teams, made up of around 270 expatriates and nearly 2200 local employees, are today present in 18 countries in Asia, Middle East, Africa and Caribbean where they are particularly committed to fighting diseases related to unsafe water but also in the essential area of food security and livelihoods. In Lebanon, since 2013, SI has been intervening as WASH actor in North and in Akkar and Bekaa since 2016 to support the response to the Syrian crisis affecting the country. Following consultations and discussions with the North Water Establishment on requirements to improve the water supply to vulnerable communities, Solidarites International with the support of HAWKAMA - EU will install a solar water pumping system in an under construction pumping station located SAIDNAYA - Akkar. SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL intends to: hire a consultant(s) or firm(s) to design and supervise the construction of a renewable energy water pumping systems in the SAIDNAYA pump station of size of about 150 kw in Akkar and solar system for 4 kw booster pump in Tleil village. How to apply 5.1 Proposition submission Based on all the information detailed in the ToR, and its own expertise, the Consultant is expected to share a detailed proposal defining the design that should be considered to ensure reaching the project objective and related output. The following elements will have to be included within the Consultant-s proposal: 5.2 Company-s profile requirements a. Legal registration and administrative documents Copy of Ministry of Finance (MoF) registration Copy of the commercial registration Copy of VAT registration Copy of bank information Copy of the ID of the general director If necessary, a Power of Attorney letter from the owner/representative b. Professional experience required For this proposition, SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL will consider Consultants being active in Lebanon, more specifically with the Ministry of Energy and Water and the Water Establishments and having experience in Solar System implementation (Design and supervision). Previous Experience to be submitted: List of previous solar pumping projects designed in the last 5 years (Name, location and sizing of the PV system, duration and of implementation in addition to work completion certificates and references). List of previous solar pumping projects supervised in the last 5 years (Name, location and sizing of the PV system, duration and of implementation in addition to work completion certificates and references). c. Partner-s staff profile Staff of the Consultant will have to have a related background and sufficient experience in solar system design and supervision (wind power design, if selected), to ensure efficiently all aspects of the Consultant-s design. Curriculum Vitae and portfolio (including the Names, relevant certificates, relevant experience for this consultancy work and CVs of key personnel proposed for the implementation of the consultancy) shall be submitted. The consultant must ensure that the staff proposed within the bidding dossiers are the same that will be implementing the project. The consultant shall mention whom from her/his staff will be part of the designing phase of the project. Warranty: The Consultant will be held accountable and responsible for the design suitability for purpose and its technical integrity, which may be subject to third party monitoring and verification. 5.3 Financial Offer Financial offer with SI priced BoQs and quotation form meeting SI minimum requirements.
