• Tenders are invited for Field Coordinator. Closing Date: Tuesday, 31. Jan 2023 Intervention Sector(s): Health, Mental Health Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) Duration of Contract: One year - Renewable Position: Field Coordinator Required deliverables: Progress report following the monitoring of Mental Health integration into different healthcare facilities Project: Improving Mental Health and Well Being of people living in Lebanon Expected timeframe of the consultancy contract: 1 year, renewable for additional year upon funds and performance Type of contract: Consultancy contract (full time - 40 hours per week) Job location: Lebanon MdM is partnering with the National Mental Health Program (NMHP) of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), the national governing body for mental health in Lebanon working on reforming the mental health system in the country to build a national sustainable system. In its project funded by the Agence Francaise de Development, MdM supports the consultants, who will be working with the NMHP to implement the national mental health strategy and the governance of the reform. The position of Field Coordinator is part of the pool of consultants who will implement mental health activities under the NMHP umbrella and in liaison with all of its partners. Activities include but are not restricted to: The Operation of the Community Mental Health and Substance Use center in Rafiq Hariri Hospital; Decreasing the stigma on Mental health and promoting Mental health through outreach activities; Integration of Mental Health in Primary Health Care. Tasks and duties Conduct regular field visits to facilities providing mental health services such as Primary Health Care Centers, Community Mental Health Centers, general hospitals and psychiatric hospitals, Follow-up on the integration of mental health within the above facilities, Assess progress to targets, and implementation barriers and provide recommendations, Facilitate and support the setup and use of the Health information system (HIS) including the Mental health packages, Administer facility-level checklists and surveys with relevant persons, pertinent to the follow up on the progress of activities and emerging needs/challenges to be addressed, Complete all field documentation such as log sheets, Coordinate with the relevant supervisor to provide the required support, and Prepare monthly reports that summarize activities done. Deliverables Progress reports per center Filled relevant forms Monthly summary report Education, experience and relevant skills Degree in public health, and other related fields, A minimum of 5 years of proven previous experience in similar work, Fluent in Arabic and English, Excellent communication skills, Excellent problem-solving skills, Excellent organizational skills, Good Microsoft office skills, Project management experience is a plus, Reliability and accountability Motorized.
