• Tenders are invited for Graphic Designer for Conflict Mapping Study Conflict Mapping Report Design. Closing Date: Sunday, 04. WE-AM - Graphic Designer for Conflict Mapping Study Background Oxfam, in partnership with Right to Play, SHiFT and ALEF, is implementing a European Union-funded project titled “Working for Engagement, Acceptance and Mediation: A Community-based Approach to Social Cohesion in Lebanon - WE-AM.” The project is being implemented between March 2023 and February 2026 in Lebanon. WE-AM aims to leverage experiences and complementarities to build consensus and stimulate lasting social cohesion initiatives in Lebanon following three working streams: addressing drivers of tensions at the community level; disseminating gender-responsive conflict prevention and resolution tools and methods; mainstreaming community-level social cohesion into programming. The partners operate in a total of 12 geographical localities, as per the following: Mashta Hammoud/Mashta Hassan - Akkar Fnaidek - Akkar Tikrit - Akkar Beddawi - Tripoli Jabal Mohsen/Tebbeneh - Tripoli Mina - Tripoli Deir el Ahmar - Bekaa Baalback - Bekaa Saida - South Lebanon Barja - Mount Lebanon Ein el Remmeneh/Shiyah - Beirut Hay el Gharbeh/Ghobeiri - Beirut Objective(s) of the Consultancy Oxfam, on behalf of the WE-AM consortium, is seeking to contract a graphic designer consultant to design a conflict mapping report produced under the project. Duties and Responsibilities/Scope of Work The Consultant is expected to: Design a Conflict Mapping report of approximatively 150-160 pages as well as its related Executive Summary document of 5-10 pages. This will include designing the cover and back-cover, and complete interior in line with the project-s developed brand identity and Branding Guidelines. The designer is to provide editable design versions (in-design files). Appointed designer will be responsible to produce the designed documents in both their Arabic and English versions. Ensure the report design aligns with the project's established branding and visual identity. Develop a comprehensive action plan and timeline for production of the requested service in collaboration with Oxfam. The timeline is estimated at 3 weeks at the latest, including Oxfam-s rounds of review. Provide rounds of edits as requested by Oxfam. Oxfam reserves the right for 2 rounds of comments at the least. Follow Oxfam and donor's guidelines (which will be made available by Oxfam). Provide Oxfam with all the designed content in high resolution for printing and for digital, as well as in editable versions. Oxfam will: Provide Oxfam and donor's guidelines. Provide project branding identity. Approve the action plan and timeline. Provide rounds of feedback and approve the final product/s. Qualifications & Skills Requirements Design and design editing skills. At least 3 years of professional experience in design and design tools and software. Familiarity with the contexts of Oxfam-s work in Lebanon as well as respect to Oxfam values. Previous experience working with I/NGOs in Lebanon Working languages: English and Arabic. Excellent coordination and communication skills, flexible attitude, and respect for deadlines.
