General Procurement Notice for Greater Tripoli Basin Wastewater Networks Publication Date: 19 Apr 2021 Deadline for Submission of Bids: 31/12/2022 Extended Deadline for Submission: 31 Dec 2022 The Project consists of the following works:  Construction of sewerage networks including house connections in part of Tripoli city, part of Koura, and part of Minieh-Dannieh. For a total length of approximately 570 km and around 20,000 house connections  Rehabilitation of the Tripoli WWTP  Supply of maintenance equipment to the NLWE  Provide Technical Assistance to the NLWE The components of the Project financed by the EIB are summarized as follows: 1. Construction of Sewerage Networks including required house connections:  In Tripoli city: Construction of new (and/or rehabilitation of existing) sewer lines of approximately 175 km.  In Koura: Construction of approximately 200 km new sewer, including lifting/pumping stations as may be required.  In Minieh-Dannieh: Construction of approximately 200 km new sewer, including lifting/pumping stations as may be required. 2. Rehabilitation of the existing WWTP in Tripoli, mainly consisting in the replacement of parts either because of natural ageing or because spare parts are no longer available. 3. Supply NLWE with vehicles for operation and maintenance use. 4. Engineering and supervision consultancy services: Preparation of detailed engineering design and Tender documents, assist the CDR & PIU during Bids evaluation, and supervision of construction works.
