Jun 2024 Intervention Sector(s): Health, Human Rights & Protection Remuneration range: 1000 (usd) duration of contract: june 2024 till april 2025 about fista: first step together association (fista) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting individuals with cognitive impairments, communication disorders, psycho-motor difficulties, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, hyperactivity, behavioral, and psycho-social problems. established in 1993 and located in north lebanon, fista-s mission is to provide education, vocational training, and professional rehabilitation for persons with disabilities, and to advocate for their rights. fista adheres to a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of gift, favor, or hospitality offered to its staff by suppliers. this policy extends to a firm stance against sexual harassment, exploitation, abuse, and child abuse, with a commitment to thoroughly investigate all allegations and take appropriate disciplinary action when necessary. project title: advancing inclusivity, protection, and resilience for persons with disabilities in north lebanon through local authority support and enhanced access to mental health services. in collaboration with expertise france under the shabake 2 project. project objective: to reduce vulnerabilities and inequalities among persons with disabilities in north lebanon, by improving their mental health and psychosocial well-being and strengthening inclusivity and accessibility across healthcare and social development sectors. project timeline: june 2024 till april 2025 quotation currency: all quotations must be provided in usd to mitigate exchange rate risks. position title: housekeeper responsibilities: we are seeking a housekeeper to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation. perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices qualifications and experience proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance customer-oriented and friendly prioritization and time management skills working quickly without compromising additional instructions: incomplete applications or missing legal documents will lead to disqualification. please use the email subject line: "housekeeper"-fista-[applicant's name]." how to apply interested candidates are required to submit the following documents to recruitment@fistanorthlebanon.org : signed quotations (annex attached) copies of relevant certificates, if available curriculum vitae (cv), if available copy of id/passport
