Tenders are invited for Integrated Coastal Zone Management Expert. Intervention Sector(s): Coordination & Information management Remuneration range: 3000 to 4000 (USD) Duration of Contract: three months The Mediterranean Forum for Applied Ecosystem-Based Management (MED4EBM) project aims to enhance the capacities of various stakeholders and institutional actors involved in managing coastal and marine areas. In addition, the Project will help to establish a cooperation and coordination platform to implement Ecosystem-Based Integrated Coastal Zone Management (EB-ICZM) effectively. The MED4EBM Project will tackle this issue by assisting ICZM actors in four coastal areas of Jordan, Italy, Lebanon, and Tunisia. In this context, Tyre Coast Nature Reserve (TCNR), partner of Med4EBM project, is looking for Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) Expert. Main responsibilities: The ICZM expert will be responsible for the following: Analyzing the data collected during the project. Add new valuable data related to TCNR. Organizations of stakeholders meeting. Suggestions to fill the management gaps of TCNR. Work with other project experts to enter, analyze, and interpret the data. Reporting Participating in all the technical/ and partner workshops of the projects. Train the reserve team/ and stakeholders involved on the management needs and how to solve them. Coordinate with the Project Manager of the project in TCNR with every step. Qualification and Skills PhD in Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, or relevant academic background, with Integrated Coastal Zones Management (ICZM) & Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) experience. Coordination and Organizational skills Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written Well knowledge of TCNR (Mandatory) Familial with field work (Mandatory) Well knowledge of data related to TCNR Good skills in collecting and achieving data based on national/ scientific papers and reports How to apply The application shall include the following: An updated CV of the applicant The application can be submitted by e-mail to the project Manager: Dr. Ali BADREDDINE (ali.badreddine@hotmail.com), and tcnr98@hotmail.com, specifying in the email subject "MED4EBM- Project Manager".
