• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Lebanon Winterization and Shelter Project 2021-2022. Closing Date: Friday, 25. Feb 2022 Intervention Sector(s): Refugees provide and apply internal plastering for block walls and ceilings . Surfaces to be plastered shall be cleaned from dust , old painting , loose damaged plaster and cleaning the rusted exposed steel bars by chemical material (phosphoric acid) then scrub quickly by driven brush tool and then protect the exposed steel bars by a zinc rich coating material . In case of exposed steel, it is required to install steel wire mesh 2*2cm to be fixed by screws. Contractor shall provide all plant scaffolding , planks ...etc. and protect the work. measurements shall be in meter square , only opening less than 0.5m2 will be assumed close , more than 0.5m2 will be deducted . work will be as per specification. Provide and apply internal emulsion paint type Dutch Boy or equivalent. Surfaces to be painted should be dry and free from dust , dirt , large cracks shall be cut out and made good finish by non -shrinkage grout material then apply one coat primer then two coats of sufficient amount of putty then apply two coats emulsion paint measurement in m2 work as per specification. provide and apply external isolated paint type sika Gard 203 single component or equivalent. Surfaces to be painted should be dry and free from dust, dirt or condensation, large cracks shall be cut out and make good finish by non-shrinkage grout material. Apply two coats of isolated paint . Contractor shall provide all plant, scaffolding, planks ... etc. to protect the people. Measurement shall be in m2 . samples of the material should be submitted to the D.O.W for approval work shall be as per specification. Remove and dismantle floor tiles from bathrooms , kitchens and other rooms , complete with remove debris from site and made surface preparation for floor slabs in a proper manner as per instruction of engineer . Then provide and apply two coats isolated bituminous (liquid) material. Then provide and install ceramic tiles of type Spain or equivalent in accordance with the approval of D.O.W and as per specification provide and install drainage connections for bathrooms and kitchens complete with all accessories PVC pipe 4'' , manholes drains , elbow ,T ....etc. work shall be done in a proper manner to the satisfaction of D.O.W The drainage connections shall be tested and protected by mortar. Average size of bathrooms (2*1.7m).sample shall be submitted to D.O.W for approval Provide and install porcelain tiles (type Spain or equivalent) for walls in a proper manner as specified and to the satisfaction of D.O.W samples showing quality and colors of tile proposed are to submit for approval prior to commencement of work.
