Purchase summary: The scope of work includes providing full-time consulting services to an expert electrical engineer, as assistant to the head of the project management unit for promoting renewable energy and strengthening the electrical system in Lebanon, for the part belonging to the Litani River National Authority. The tasks of the consultant expert include the following: Providing technical and administrative support to the project management unit (PMT). In particular, reviewing all books of conditions and all technical reports issued by the Owner's Engineer, and reviewing all new maps for the main electricity generation equipment, in addition to the monitoring and control systems for the hydroelectric power production plants in Joun, Al-Awali, and Markaba, including, but not limited to, the rehabilitation Turbines, replacing governors and voltage regulators (AVR), replacing SCADA control systems, monitoring and protection, preparing technical reports, preparing work meetings, and permanent coordination with the World Bank team that follows up on the project implementation and with the OE consultant and the contractor who is implementing the works.
