- The United Nations is planning to invite competitive proposals for long term supply of fuel and related services in support of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).Description of requirementThe primary aim is to enter into a long-term turnkey fuel services agreement that will include the followingessential services:(i) Sourcing and distribution of Jet A-1, Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene and Liquified Petroleum Gas to UNIFIL in Lebanon and to various UN positions in the area of operations including Into-Vehicles, into-plane, into-generator and bulk delivery ;(ii) Supply of oil and lubricant products (POL);(iii) Collection and disposal of waste oil(iv) Operations and maintenance of UN owned fuel infrastructure and reserves (Distribution Points DPs);(vi) Mobilisation of one DP [550 MC Diesel & 50 MC Gasoline AGS Tanks];(vii) Installation of Fuel Tank Level Sensors and in-line Flow Meters;(viii) Decommissioning of a DP with Under-ground storage tanks.The full details of the requirements will be included in the solicitation documents.
