• Tenders are invited for Requirement for Mental health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP) Trainer Closing Date: Tuesday, 20. Dec 2022 Intervention Sector(s): Health, Mental Health Remuneration range: 1000 (usd) duration of contract: one year - renewable training objectives: the general objective of the mhgap is to provide trainees (gps, nurses, midwives) with enhanced knowledge, skills and attitude to assess and manage the cases of persons with mild or moderate mental health disorders. training content: the training should last 4 or 5 days and be in arabic and cover the mhgap intervention guide for mental, neurological and substance use (mns) disorders in non-specialized health settings. the trainer should cover at least the following topics: general principles of care acute stress trauma-related disorders moderate-severe depressive disorder psychosis suicide/self -harm harmful use of alcohol and drugs developmental disorders the training should take in consideration the piloted protocols designed by the national mental health program for the management of depression in primary health care centers. target population general practitioners, nurses, social workers and psychologists from the supported mdm phccs and partners- phccs. mdm staff and staff from other partners schedule location, dates and duration location: the training will take place in lebanon (in person or online based on the context challenges; in person training should be prioritized. dates: from january 2023 until end of 2023. a total of 4 trainings are expected, for about 9 phccs located in south, beqaa, north, bml duration of the training: minimum of 4/5 days deliverables training curricula and material a pre and post-tests need to be conducted and submitted. final report must be submitted to mdm and should include the following sections: 1. introduction: training overview, learning objectives, trainer and participant details 2. presentation of training outcomes: pre-post-test results (graph), analysis of evaluation, any additional feedback from participants and trainer 3. annexes (agenda, signed and scanned attendance sheet, data-entry attendance list, pre-posttest template, evaluation template) 4. scanned pre-post-test and evaluation requested profile · mandatory minimum diploma: doctor in psychiatry, tot mhgap certification experience in the humanitarian field arabic and english language application process: please note that your financial offer shall mention: your name and contacts (address, phone and email) or corporate name and contacts financial proposal including: detailed budget for the training, including all taxes and incorporating a budget break-down (per number of days, unit) terms of payment. please use the below template: number of days unit cost per day total dollar remarks training training plan any and all relevant information or deemed of value to mdm. deadline to apply: 20/12/2022, 05:00 pm all above documents are mandatory in order to be considered for the assignment. any other document, which might support the offer, is encouraged to be submitted as well. expected starting date: 01/01/2023 (duration: one year contract renewable for additional two years, depends on funds and performance efficiency). the offer must be sent by email to: logsupplyoff.beirut.lebanon@medecinsdumonde.net, and mention in the subject of the email “mr 008 bey lb 23 - mhgap trainer consultancy”, before december 20th at 05:00 pm.
