- Tenders are invited for Private Duty Nurses. Proposals must be submitted on or before September 16,2022 Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. till 13:00 p.m. Qualifications: Registered with a commercial circular and holds Ministry of Finance registration number Has agreements with insurance companies Has a computerized system for logging and tracing patients; AUBMC to be granted access to files referred to by AUBMC Specifications: Offers 24 hours service 7 days a week for hospitalized patients as well as patients in the home setting Has structured policies and procedures that govern the practice of the private duty nurses and that aim to ensure the provision of quality patient care and good patient experience. Policies and procedures to be reviewed and approved by AUBMC. Staff to abide by AUBMC's policies and procedures when accompanying a hospitalized patient Close follow up by the agency manager on the private duty nurses through conducting regular spot checks on the home visits, etc. Highly trained and competent staff; Registered Nurses and Practical Nurses should have the license to practice as RN and PN respectively from the Ministry of Public Health, auxiliary staff (Orderlies and Nurse Aides) should have received the required training to be able to take care of patients. AUBMC shall have the right to view and approve the qualifications of the staff Highly professional and respectful staff; wearing the nursing uniform at all times. Nursing uniform should be provided by the company. Staff to be vaccinated as per AUBMC's requirements as below: ะพ Updated immunization record including MMR and Varicella ะพ Covid vaccine Result of Hepatitis ะ serology test (within the last 12 months) showing noninfectious status or immunity ะพ Evidence of PPD negative status: Less than 10 mm or previous vaccination with BCG; then a chest X-ray showing negative result of active disease within the last 12 months ะพ Flu vaccine is preferred
