Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Professional with Training/Teaching or Working Experience in Construction - VTE for All Programme. The VTE4all project financed by the EU and implemented by GIZ The project is designed to support Lebanon in the context of the protracted displacement crisis providing job-related competences for vulnerable Lebanese, Syrians and Palestinian. The main project approach is participatory and based on capacity development which aims to empower key stakeholders in Vocational and Technical Education. This involves capacity building of trainers to deliver Competence Based Training (CBT) modules, assessors to assess and certify job-related competences, and DGVTE teachers to develop lessons in distance learning modality. The Boarding Training Centre (BTC) at USEK facilities in Zouk Mosbeh Furthermore, the project will be piloting for three years a Boarding Training Centre (BTC) in the construction sector where trainees will come from different parts of Lebanon and from different credos and nationalities. The facility for the BTC is an old supermarket recently purchased in Zouk Mosbeh by USEK university with the aim of transforming it into a skills development center (SDC). It is currently composed of 2 floors, 2,000 sqm each, divided into big halls, storage areas, and modular spaces with an open-space area of 1,000 sqm. The renovation of the facility will be done by the trainees attending Work Based Learning (WBL) activities. Outline of the mission The professional is required to deliver up to 12 editions of a training module for a total of 6 working days. 5 consecutive days from Monday to Friday and the Saturday of the following week. The working hours are from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 12:00 to 18:00. The Expert will be informed 15 days before the start date of the delivery.
