Tenders are invited for Providing Tleil, Haytla, Saidnaya and Mzeihme with Safe, Reliable and Sustainable Water Services. Closing Date: Friday, 30. Dec 2022 Intervention Sector(s): Refugees SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in partnership with the European Union EU are committed to provide Access to Basic Services for the Vulnerable Population in Lebanon - Economic Recovery and Basic Infrastructure. Established in France in 1980, SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious, non-profit organisation. SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL intends to achieve its goal through the following activities: For the Civil Works: 1. Construction of well head 2. Construction of an electrical and chlorination room 3. Construction of generator platform 4. Construction of fuel tank 5. Construction of fence and installation of access gates 6. Rehabilitation of 1 existing water tanks (Tleil Water Tank). 7. Road and asphalting works 8. All civil works related to the project. For the Electromechanical Works: 1. Supply and installation of submersible motor pump set for the well. 2. Supply and installation of new pipes and hydraulic accessories (rising column, valves, air-release valves, check valves, gate valves, etc…). 3. Supply and installation of new liquid chlorination system. 4. Supply and installation of a new electrical system 5. Supply and installation of a new instrumentation and control system 6. Internal and external electrical lighting, wiring, switches, etc.… 7. Supply and installation of two standby generators (one for the well pump and one for the booster pump) 8. Supply and installation of new EDL transformers. 9. Subscription to EDL for both the well and the booster sites. 10. Conduction of semi-industrial and industrial testing. 11. Operation of the well for a couple of days prior to its commissioning. Pipe Works: 1. Construction of a DI Transmission Line L=1850m diameter 200mm. 2. Construction of a network with a total length of around 11.5Kmf HDPE pipes with diameters ranging from 63mm to 110mm IMPORTANT NOTICE IN THE SCOPE OF WORK: 1- IN ADDITION TO WATER PROVISION, THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO ALLOW THE COMMUNITIES IN THE FOUR VILLAGES TO ENGAGE IN THE PLANNING, DESIGN, AND IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS. THUS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RECEIVE FROM SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL A LIST OF WORKERS NAMES RESIDING IN THE TARGETED AREAS OR THE NEIGHBORING VILLAGES TO BE HIRED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT HIS OWN EXPENSES ON A ROTATION BASIS. 2- THE DESIGN OF THE PUMPING STATION, THE TRANSMISSION LINE IS NOT YET FINALIZED SINCE IT IS DEPENDENT ON THE BOREHOLE. AFTER THE DRILLING AND THE TESTING OF THE BOREHOLE, THE CONSULTANT SHALL ANALYZE THE RESULTS AND UPDATE THE DESIGN ACCORDINGLY (IF NECESSARY), THEREFORE VARIATIONS MIGHT OCCUR IN THE BILL OF QUANTITIES IN THE LOTS RELATED TO THE MENTIONED WORKS.
