• Tenders are invited for Psychiatrist - Tripoli Based. Closing Date: Sunday, 15. Jan 2023 Intervention Sector(s): Mental Health Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 1 year renewable BACKGROUND: The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization based in Beirut. CLDH was created in 2006 by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily), which has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human rights violations. CLDH monitors the human rights situation in Lebanon, fights enforced disappearance, impunity, arbitrary detention and racism and rehabilitates the victims of torture. CLDH regularly organizes press conferences, workshops and advocacy meetings on human rights issues in Lebanon and collects, records and documents human rights abuses in reports and press releases. CLDH team on the ground supports initiatives aimed at determining the fate of all missing persons in Lebanon. CLDH regularly follows up on numerous cases of arbitrary detention and torture in Lebanon in coordination with Lebanese and international organizations, and with the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention WGAD and the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture. CLDH currently has 4 offices: Dora, Baouchrieh, Beqaa and Tripoli. Duties and Responsibilities: The Psychiatrist works within a multidisciplinary team with the Social Worker, the General Practitioner and the Psychologist of Nassim Center and reports to the Center coordinator. The Psychiatrist has the primary responsibility of: Identifying the beneficiaries- psychiatric conditions. Analyzing beneficiaries- emotional, behavioral and mental state. Developing recovery plans, using a variety of treatments. Prescribing treatments or therapies and medications to Beneficiaries, if necessary. Medication management. Collect medical information from Beneficiaries or other medical professionals. Record patient medical histories. Reporting the consultations on CLDH shared database. Attend meeting when necessary to discuss cases treatment. Provide report on the progress of the beneficiaries when required. Ensure frequent communication with team members as part of the multi-disciplinary approach of Nassim program. The Psychiatrist will work upon appointments previously scheduled by CLDH-s management and shared by Nassim Center-s Administrative Assistant. Education: Medicine Diploma (Specialization in Psychiatry). Medical license to practice in Lebanon Location: The Psychiatrist will be providing the sessions at Nassim Center in Tripoli when needed and upon appointments.
