Description:
Tenders are invited for Re-Contracting of the Project for the Implementation of the Remaining Works of the Tunnel within the Awali Water Conveyance Project to Greater Beirut. The average annual turnover of the exhibitor during the last five years should not be less than $30 million. - That the bidder prove, according to a statement issued by a bank, that it is able to secure a financial liquidity of $12.5 million. - That the bidder has successfully implemented, during the last seven years, similar projects, including: a. A similar project worth $40 million. As a minimum, it includes the occupancy of tunnels with a diameter of not less than 2.5 m. B. Tunneling projects with a diameter of not less than 2.5 m, including the works of an inner casing of concrete (armed or unarmed), with a total length of not less than 10 km. Ad details The project includes the implementation of the works of wrapping the remaining sections of the tunnel, with a length of about 20 km, with concrete lining and insulating materials ( membrane ), and cladding sheets of iron in a circular shape ( steel lining) in specific sections of this tunnel, and the works of wrapping the remaining section of the tunnel ( Drives 3 ) with a length of about 2 km with GRP pipes , in addition to completing the excavation and packaging works for the Inverted Siphon facility , and completing the works of access roads, hydraulic facilities, and others.
