Description:
Quotation are invited for Services of an Energy Expert (Provider) to Perform Well-Defined Activities under the Project Entitled “Water Sanitation and Conservation” (WSC). Milestone Date/Time RFQ-Rev 01 issuing date 13/02/2023 Deadline for receiving offers 20/02/2023 3. Qualifications & Requirements:  A Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and/or Environmental Engineering, a Masters- degree in energy, or any other related fields; is preferred.  Experience in and good knowledge of energy and renewable energy is required.  Excellent command of English and Arabic is a must (spoken, read, and written); French is a plus.  Superior writing and communication skills.  Excellent organizational, analytic and interpretive skills.  Ability to work independently.  Excellent command of Microsoft Office package; knowledge of statistical software (such as STATA or SPSS) is a plus. SCOPE OF WORK The Provider will assist and provide all necessary services similar but not limited to the ones mentioned below: I. Deliverable AD11: Develop an “In-depth analysis report on selected case studies”: 1. Analytical Framework  Energy Performance  Operation and Maintenance  Survey of WWTPs 2. WWTP Profiles: Energy Efficiency Needs for five priority WWTPs (in Beqaa, North, and South of Lebanon)  Energy Audit  Technical and financial feasibility 3. Recommend renewable solutions for possible interventions II. Deliverable AD12: Develop a progress reporting and monitoring on up to two case studies for implementation (subject to descoping in case the funding agency decides not to intervene):  Monitoring of up to two case studies (where recommendations developed under deliverable AD11 are being implemented).  Monitoring includes: O Assess Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) developed in AD11 in the two selected sites of intervention. O Develop a progress and monitoring report for the two areas of intervention.
