• Tenders are invited for Technical Consultant - Ad165202202 - the Food System Challenge (WFP). Scope of Work, Outputs, & Deliverables The Consultant will be expected to deliver the following: Provide training and coaching to company-s employees (rural beneficiaries) in the scope of capacity building and create a training curriculum that meets the demands of the chosen company. The training program will assist in the following areas: Extend recipients' knowledge of proper food manufacturing, personal hygiene, food safety and quality, food storage, and monitoring on record-keeping procedures. Develop Trainer-s guide (manual) based on company-s newly developed sun-drying technicalities and processes. Develop labeling information as needed to ensure exportation compliance. Advice on the best practices for packaging, storage, and preservation. Increase the capacity of rural beneficiaries in the areas of innovative product development, food packing and preservation, and labeling. Raise employee' awareness of the importance of energy access and resource sustainability, as well as their positive influence on gender equality, economic empowerment. Create a training curriculum to be delivered to employees. The training program will address the following issues: Develop the ability of employees in food industry, personal hygiene, food safety and quality, food storage, and the preparation of monitoring and evaluation records. Build the capacity of rural beneficiaries on good practices related to starting new product lines, food packaging and preservation, and labelling. Raise the awareness of the employees on the importance of access to energy and the sustainable use of resources Where eligible and needed, trainings should match national or specific standards in work development. Training of Trainers (TOT) Materials Design a Manual for Trainers, Handbook for Participants, Power Point presentations and other teaching tools needed for Training-of-Trainers (TOT). Develop Trainer-s guide on safety standards and good practices for producers. Closing Date: Tuesday, 24.
