• Tenders are invited for Trainers - Teachers Training - Empowering Educators for Enhanced Educational Practices. Closing Date: Monday, 21. Aug 2023 Intervention Sector(s): Children & Youth, Education, Refugees Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 5 consecutive days in the period between August and September 2023 Kayany Foundation, a leading organization committed to providing quality education and support to vulnerable children and Youth, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant to conduct a comprehensive training program for our teachers, school principals, and education officers. The objective of this training is to empower our education staff to lead professional learning initiatives, fostering continuous improvement of educational practices at both classroom and school levels. Training Objective: The selected consultant will work closely with our education staff to design and implement tailored interventions that enhance their capacity to maintain high educational quality. We are seeking a professional with over 5 years of experience in training teachers on innovative pedagogical methods. The consultant should be well-informed and updated on the latest findings related to the following suggested topics: Disciplining in the classroom- Alternatives to punishment (classroom management) Motivating students- bring the best out of students by simple changes in our communication and behavior Active learning- Methodologies to make teaching more interactive, involving and more meaningful (student-centered) Learning styles- understanding learning styles and how we can maximize learning using this understanding Multiple intelligences- to make classes more interactive and interesting Cooperative learning- how to multiply learning using groups Understanding and working with higher order thinking skills Developing and using creativity in learning Brain based learning and study skills Adopting a positive class/school environment Project-based learning (grades 5 till 9) How to use new communication technologies to create content that would enhance student engagement and improve communication among students and teachers How to apply Application Details: Interested trainers are requested to submit their CV and price offer for providing a 5-day training program. The location for the training sessions will be either Bar Elias or Majdal Anjar, depending on the availability and convenience of the selected trainer.
