• Request for proposals are invited for Video Production Companies to Produce Four Videos. Closing Date: Thursday, 15. Sep 2022 Intervention Sector(s): Communications & Media The proposed initiative targets 12 municipalities/ Communities across Lebanon from various social and cultural Backgrounds. To encourage young people to participate in the next municipal election, they must be provided with accurate information on the role of municipalities and their laws. In Lebanon, the municipal sector is subject to confusion and devaluation while municipalities have a direct impact on the youth's daily lives by offering local services. The Project will highlight what remains confused in the Lebanese people's minds, namely the municipality's role. Much of the confusion stems from the fact that municipal law and mandate differ from the private sector and public institutions. To explain the importance of municipalities in citizens' daily lives, Adyan will recruit qualified experts to deliver trainings on municipal mandate. Youth will engage in a learning experience/ simulation to participate and vote in May 2023 Municipal election. The Project would mobilize youth to imagine their cities, participate and encourage others to do the same. Adyan was established on August 6, 2006, and is registered in Lebanon as a non-profit, independent, non-governmental organization (NGO), under the number 1103 by Ministerial Decree dated 18 September 2008. Scope of work: Adyan Foundation and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation is requesting proposals from video production companies or freelance suppliers with MOF number, to produce four videos according to the advocacy and digital media visibilities planned for this project. The service provider will coordinate with ADYAN team (media and project manager) and KAS team (communication officer and project manager) to coordinate the storyboard creation, filming and editing of sessions in accordance to the activity plan and calendar. The videos will be part of digital media campaign that will have to strictly commit to deadlines and dates of publishing across all social media platforms, FB, IG, Twitter, Youtube based on a preset social media calendar. The required media outcomes are listed as follows: 2 Short informative Videos Technical description: Filmed in a studio, with a solid background, soft lighting, anchor standing with neck microphone. Editing: light animation should be designed and displayed to represent the developed modules) 1 wrap-up video (5 minutes) 1 Teaser (1 minute) Technical description: Shots from all training sessions across all regions to showcase the activities- outcomes. This video includes testimonials from beneficiaries and interviews from trainers. The main edit should be 5 minutes long in addition to the edit of a teaser/shortie. N.B: all the above will require inserting subtitles provided by Adyan media team. These videos will tell the story of the projects- purpose of advocating for political participation and engaging youth in the municipal elections 2023.
