Description:
Tenders are invited for Warehouse, Transportation and Packaging Facility. General Storage condition: • Storage area to be located on the ground floor to avoid handling heavy items/boxes on escalator. • Ac is installed maintaining a temperature 21°c-25°c and humidity less than 60%. • shelves are installed, as the products needs to be placed above the floor (15cm above the floor) • façade, floor, and walls are up to standard • storage area is free from open walls and ceiling • cables are covered to prevent any potential electrical hazard • printing machine to be placed in the storage to print the invoices for retailers team handling the storage is responsible for: • handling logistics of empty jars from the storage location to the rural areas (bekaa/ north and south). • handling logistics of filled jars from rural areas to the storage. • handling logistics of day-to-day order from storage to the customer/ retailers. • ensuring safe logistics and delivery for all food and roots items. • printing the invoices for retailers when needed. • helping in product labelling when needed. • helping in preparing packages in case of any marketing activities. description number order preparation (customers, retailers and producers) 250 times take care of logistics (customers and retailers) 250 times take care of logistics to and from the producers (located in rural areas) 200 (50 times to the producers & 50 times from the producers) assist in adding label to the jars 2000 jars size of the warehouse 5x5 the american university of beirut is soliciting offers for the warehouse, transportation and packaging facility per the attached specification. we would appreciate receiving your competitive offer by the deadline date/ time: monday november 29, 2021, kindly note that the fees will be paid in fresh dollars. the offer should include any other fees that are deemed necessary such as but not limited to insurance cost, management fees. appreciate sending your offer clearly marked as” sealed quotation- warehouse, transportation and packaging facility” at pca-rfq@aub.edu.lb we look forward to receiving your competitive offer before the deadline date/time. in the meantime, please reply immediately to this e-mail confirming that you have received this email.
