Description:
Request for proposals are invited for West Network Risk Assessment Study. Objectives The American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) intends to seek the services of qualified companies to conduct a risk assessment study of its water network systems infrastructure focusing on maximizing system reliability, minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring the highest degree of patients` safety. A systematic process shall be used to evaluate the condition of the water network system as well as the vulnerability of the facility to the adverse effects of an unexpected shortage or problematic event. The risk assessment shall combine the qualitative assessment of this system from four perspectives: • Patients` safety • Critical-function impact • Likelihood of occurrence • Facility vulnerability The assessment shall be performed by companies who have in-depth experience in the design, operation, maintenance, safety and reliability of such systems and equipment as well as in-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards and with the optimal design practices of the type of facility—i.e., healthcare facility, medical clinics, outpatients centers, etc. Buildings The project scope covers the following buildings: Building # of Floors Estimated Area in sqm Medical Center East wing 14 40,000 Medical Center West wing 11 24,500 Pierre Y.
